What we do?

We love writing worth reading and reading worth writing about, theatre, music and cinema, photography, films (some even making films), yoga and aikido, travelling, web development and design. We believe in cross-cultural diversity and we’re here to share things that make us smile.

We’ll always be promoting our home country Romania: you’ll read about traditional villages, medieval towns, Dracula and Transylvania, odd superstitions, legends and fairytales, Danube Delta and the Greek colonies at the Black Sea, exiled Roman poets, underground glaciers, spectacular landscape and much more…ok, maybe we’ll slightly romanticise things, but you’ll get the gist. 

We write about books we enjoyed reading, about places we visited and events we find interesting; we share photos and videos and we’ll try to make your visit as multimodal as possible. 

In September 2008, we started organising our “Read it! Swap it!” book club meetings. You’re all very welcome to join us; you can read about our past and future meetings in the Blog section (English & Romanian).

We also have a “baby” project: a documentary film about the Merry Cemetery, Sapanta. Research has already started and we’ll keep you updated on the progress.
