Bogdan Tiganov is a writer and artist, born in Brăila, Romania, on August 1, 1981, and it was there that he started his lifelong interest in the arts by attending the Nicolai Bălcescu School of Music at the age of seven, learning to play piano as well as composing. In London, UK, he studied visual arts under the supervision of Don Pavey, world-renowned expert on colour. He finished writing and illustrating his first book by the time he was fourteen and received considerable interest from leading children’s book publishers.

Since then, he studied English Literature at degree level, received a CELTA teaching diploma from IH Barcelona, and has had various jobs, including being an English teacher, a call-centre operator, an editorial assistant, and a content editor. His short stories and poems have appeared in magazines and periodicals worldwide.

  • Putem cumpara cartea acolo? Daca tot ne apucam de rasfoit... Ar fi bine... Diana, tu esti pe forumul lonelyplanet.com? E cineva coeus pe acolo si dirijeaza turistii straini spre Romania :)
    Vin si eu in septembrie ca tre sa inapoiez cartea imprumtata pe 2 martie (citesc mai incet, deh).

  • anca, fiind vecina mea de munca din cat pare, promit sa-ti pastrez paharul de vin ...dar pe jumatate si-l platesti tu :D
    eu s-ar putea sa munnesc dar pana la 2.vezi ca ai bus 72 si in 20 min ajunge la stingin nettle.eu tau aproape de bar :D asa ca daca nu stii cum sa ajungi da-mi un telefon , id rebelu pe forum romani.co.uk sau iti da diana id-u meu de yahoo pe email
    vin-o la orice ora termini ca noi sigur ne lungim la un pahar.
    pt cei ce nu stiu, la 20m de stingin nettle este vespa bar cu muzica rock live si cocktailuri bune, muzica dupa 4-5 pana spre noapte, ozzy bar ;-) unii deja l-au verificat cu mine :P

    Tare fain sa va gasesc duminica trecuta! Pe cand urmatoarea intalnire? Nu de alta, dar cred ca am ramas in urma la "povestiri la un pahar de vorba".... Cum s-a terminat seara? La un moment dat a cam deviat discutia spre comunism si alte celea ne prea legate de cartea lui Bogdan.... voua cum vi s-a parut? Sint singura care am senzatia ca prea multa lume e "fixata" pe comunism si nu reusim sa trecem peste evenimente mai vechi de 20 de ani?

    Ugh.... m-am racorit putin acum.
